Fine Print: 1. Club members are responsible for their own safety, by ensuring the dive is within their capability and that the equipment they use, whatever the source, is in satisfactory condition. 2. A member who has indicated that he/she will be participating in a Club Dive and cancels AFTER the final list has been confirmed on Friday or does not show up for the dive or decides not to dive for any reason, is responsible to pay any charges, up to the full amount of the dive, that the dive operator charges the Dive Organizer for the absent diver. 3. When a dive is fully subscribed, paid-up members take precedence over guests. 4. Members bringing guests shall be responsible for them completing an `Assumption of Risk Agreement', available on the website, under the 'Diving' menu. The member will also be responsible for the safety and good conduct of their guests. Rates for guests as follows: (a.) Persons who are resident on the island and are potential members can dive as the guest of a Club member at Club rates on a maximum of 2 occasions, after which they pay the normal dive operator's price. (b.) Non-resident friends or relatives of members including past Club members are welcome to dive with the Club as often as they wish, but should pay the normal dive operators price. Standard Diver Equipment At a minimum what every diver should carry on every dive: 1. Fins, mask and snorkel (A snorkel should be worn or carried on every dive. However, if you are properly trained to enter wrecks or other overhead environments, it should be carried but not worn when in the overhead environment.) 2. Compressed gas cylinder and valve 3. Adequate exposure protection (wetsuit) 4. Buoyancy control device (BCD) with tank mount and low pressure inflator 5. Quick release weight system and weights (If required) 6. Primary regulator and alternate air source 7. Submersible pressure gauge 8. Depth monitoring device (Depth gauge) 9. Time monitoring device (Watch) 10. Dive tables or required table information transcribed to slate 11. Compass 12. Computer (replaces 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 depending on computer functions) 13. Cutting device (knife, line cutter or shears) 14. Surface marker buoy (SMB) 15. Audible emergency surface signaling device (whistle or air horn)
